Meet Akalai

Aloha and welcome to Lemurian Yogi, I’m Akalai Hanui.

You And I Are NOT Different

The grand illusion is that we’re separate, that we’re different. You and I are not different, I’ve simply been taught to think different. To see the human body as energy, and that repressed emotion has the ability to manifest as physical pain. To look beyond the linear progression of cause and effect, and instead notice patterns, bending lines into circles.

Our Body Does NOT Do Random

Our body is a master teacher, and no pain is ever random. When we learn how to listen we can truly begin to heal.

My issue with physical therapy is that it focuses solely on the physical body and completely negates the emotional and energy body’s.

Talk therapy I believe also falls short as it ignores the physical body. My work highlights how emotions can impact our energy channels (meridian lines), and how stagnation within these channels can lead to pain in our physical body.

Connecting Dots

When we listen we learn, when we learn we have the opportunity to become aware of unconscious patterns, and once we’re aware we can change. However it’s impossible to change a pattern we’re unaware of. This is why active listening is at the heart of all my sessions.

Buddha said, “The BIGGEST communication problem is we do not listen to understand. We listen to reply.”

Listening to understand allows for me to connect dots. The more dots I’m able to connect the clearer a persons patterns become, the clearer the patterns the clearer the design of a session.

“Nature Is The Closest Thing We Have To Experiencing God.” - Liana Shanti

What initially drew me to oriental medicine was its deep connection to nature. Teaching that the elements not only exist externally but also within each of us.

Nature and the elements are teachers. The nurturing love of the earth, the structure of metal, the introspection of water, the strength and flexibility of the bamboo tree, and the fire of the heart.
