I had so much fun designing this sequence. Each asana was selected with the intention of targeting the specific muscles that either insert or attach onto the pelvis. This practice is great for those looking to increase hip fluidity and mobility.
For this practice you’ll need 2 blocks and a belt.
EASE YOUR WORRY (29:50)
Style: Hatha Vinyasa
This practice is designed to help support the spleen (earth element) which in traditional Chinese medicine is the organ associated with the emotion of worry. We’ll spend some time building the relationship with the sole of the foot and learning how to ground its three points. The session ends with a short myofascial release sequence for the feet.
For this practice you’ll need 2 blocks and 1 myofascial ball (or tennis ball).
I LOVED the 9 day yoga challenge so much. I hadn’t been practicing so I was a little unsure about hopping on last minute, but I am so glad I did. Doing this challenge was the first time I practiced with you and got to witness your gifts! Your energy is calming but uplifting at the same time which is perfect to take me through sequences and push myself. I also feel like your knowledge on TCM is such an added bonus because I could come to you with emotional aspects I was moving through and you instantly matched me to a practice that supported them.
